Myrtle Bank Self Catering Cottage Tiree
Myrtle Bank cottage is a renovated traditional ‘black house’ situated amongst a small collection of houses in Mannal Tiree. Although not currently listed, the cottage had been recently assessed by Historic Scotland as being suitable for recommendation as a Grade C listed building. It is only 35 metres from a sandy beach and the sea.

The living room has white walls with a pine surround at low level. The pine ceiling has open rafters. There is a multi-fuel room heater-type stove. Other heating is provided by modern electric heaters. There is ‘freeview’ satellite television and a smart tv. There is a dvd player and bluetooth speaker. Free Wifi is also available.
The kitchen is well appointed, with a fridge, a combination microwave, toaster, oven and ceramic hob, washing machine and dishwasher.
There is a shower room with a shower, wash hand basin and toilet. There are two showers in the cubicle, one electric with instant hot water and the other by a thermostatic mixer which operates from the hot water system.There is an electric hot towel rail.
There is one double bedroom with a double bed and one twin bedroom with two single beds.
Both rooms have a view of the sea through large Velux windows.There is a small cabin style area at the top of the stairs with one single bed in it.
The sandy beach is only 35 metres away. Cormorants, seals and otters can often be seen.
